Albina Admin GUI
UI&UX Design. In collaboration with Transporter.Albina Admin GUI is the backend system for lawinen.report, the avalanche warning platform used across Tirol, the Euregio region and Switzerland.

The system plays a crucial role in collecting, managing, and publishing avalanche reports.
I worked with the Avalanche Warning Service in Tirol in collaboration with the agency Transporter to redesign the previous interface. The old system made data entry and review inefficient, requiring frequent screen switching and slowing down workflows.
The redesign focused on keeping users in context, improving efficiency, and making sure all critical information is immediately accessible for the warners writing the report.
The new interface is responsive and allows the team at the Avalanche Warning System to write the report wherever they are—in the office, on top of a mountain or on the move.

Since the launch of the new design at the start of the season, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The redesigned Albina Admin GUI makes daily reporting faster, more intuitive, and significantly improves the overall experience of the avalanche warning services.
- The new UI reduces unnecessary navigation, keeping users in the right context at all times.
- Improved data visibility with a left-hand list of warning regions, allowing for quick comparisons and better overview.
- Real-time saving and updates allow users to see live reports from other warning services without refreshing or switching screens.
